FRIDAY ONLY: For the competition sites of Triolet, Séminaire de Sherbrooke and Collègue Mont Notre-dame there will be shuttles to ensure transportion to and from these site as PARKING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY. See details in the shuttle section.
For the rest of the tournament, teams are responsible for arranging their own transportation to, from, and during the championships.

Shuttle service # 1-
Université de Sherbrooke / Triolet de Sherbrooke
We are lacking of parking spaces at the Triolet and therefore we will have to use additional parking space at the Université de Sherbrooke. For your accommodation there will be a shuttle service between the two locations every ten minutes. The first departure will take place at the parking lot right in front of the Université de Sherbrooke’s Sports Center at 6:30 a.m. and will drop you at the Triolet. The last one to go will be at 10:30 p.m. from the Triolet.

Édifice Expo de Sherbrooke / Séminaire de Sherbrooke- Collège Mont Notre-Dame.
There will be a shuttle service between these two locations every ten minutes. The first departure will take place at the small parking lot in front of the Édifice Expo de Sherbrooke at 6:30 a.m. and will drop you at the Séminaire de Sherbrooke’s bus station terminal. The last one to leave will be at 10:30 p.m. from the Séminaire de Sherbrooke.
All teams must:
1) Be registered and in good standing within their own region (P/TA) and with Volleyball Canada. Out of country teams must also be registered and in good standings within their own National Federation.
2) Participate in the Provincial Championship held in their own Province or Territory, if one exists (team roster must be the same at provincial and national).
3) Meet all registration requirements.
The teams roster may consist of a maximum of 15 players and 4 coaching staff. Only 12 of those 15 players can be registered on the scoresheet during the competition and will be permitted to play any given match. These 12 athletes may vary from one match to another.
Refunds will be given(less a $100 administration fee) on withdrawals made up to the entry deadline of the event (April 8th). After this time, no refunds will be given.
The Official Volleyball Canada 2010-2011 Indoor Rule Book shall govern play at the National Championships.
Please review the 2010-2011 Indoor Competition for details concerning eligibility, divisions, seeding, scouting, etc. All coaches and team contacts should be aware of its content. It is available to be downloaded under
Bronze Game Tier 2 and +

The team check-in will be on Thursday, May 5th at the sports center of the University of Sherbrooke between 2h00 pm and 18h00 pm.
The coaches meeting will take place after the opening ceremony (around 8h30 pm in the green gym court 8-9 of the sports center of the University of Sherbrooke
Coaches are requested to present proof of a completed level 1 coaching certification to scorekeepers at the beginning if each match, along with their team roster. If coaching certification is not presented, officials will make a note on the scoresheet for the tournament committee to take action.
Cooking equipements such as microwave ovens, burners, barbecues, etc. are not allowed on competition sites.
Schedules will be handed to you at the coache's meeting on Thursday, May 5th 2011. Hours to be confirmed.
45 minutes practice time-slots may be booked at University of Sherbrooke on thursday May 5, 2011 between13h30 p.m. and 6h00 p.m. Practice times will be given on a first-come first serve basis and will only be available to teams who book IN ADVANCE. All practice time requests must be made before midnight on Monday April 25, 2011.

A minimum of 10 minutes (5-5 for hitting) will be available for warm-up prior to the start of each match. Teams will be able to warm up with volleyballs in designated ball warm-up areas before each match.
Referees certified by Volleyball Canada will be named to every match. The coordination of the referees will be realized in consultation with the committees of the provincial and national referees.
Score keepers will be supplied for all the games by the Club Envolley
The teams will have to supply a line judge for all their games

A physical rehabilitation technician will be present at all competition sites. He will provide pre-taping and taping services. However, you will have to provide your own bandages. In case of injury, if further diagnosis is necessary, an experienced physiotherapist will be present at the University of Sherbrooke.
The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday May 5th, 2011 at 7:00 pm to the sports center of the University of Sherbrooke.
The teams are invited to get dressed in the colors of their province and to have flags of their province. There will be a team marching in of the athletes by province. The teams Sherbrooke University sport center 6:15 pm for the opening ceremony.

The tournament jury is composed of a Volleyball Canada/Domestic Competition Committee (DCC) representative, Host committee representative, and the Referee Supervisor. For more information on the Jury's powers and duties, please consult the Indoor Competition Guide 2010-2011.
The $400.00 team performance bond remains the responsibility of each Provincial/Territorial Association. Ultimately, teams will be required to forward the bonds amount in the event of any infraction which affect:
1) VC Code of conduct violation
2) Accommodation/facility damages
3) Uniform regulation
4) Coaches fail to meet coaching certification requirements
5) If a team does not fulfill its competitive obligations to an event.
