Registration
Registration is to be done online at www.volleyball.ca Deadline : April 19th, 2005 Registration fees : $650 (including all fees and taxes) New this year ! No need to enter your team roster manually. It will be transfered from PTAs to VC after the respectives registration deadlines.
Team Eligibility
In order to be eligible to participate in a National Championship, a team must... 1 - Be registered and in good standing with its own PTA and with Volleyball Canada. Out of country teams must be registered and in good standing with their National Federation. 2 - Participate in its Provincial/Territorial Championship, if one exists, in any Tier. 3 - Meet registration requirements. Player Eligibility Players must be born in 1985 or before (no exception)
Roster
The team roster may consist of a maximum of 15 players and 3 coaching staff (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager). Only 12 of those 15 players can be registered on the scoresheet during the competition and will be permitted to play any given match. These 12 athletes may vary from one match to another. Rosters will be transfered from P/TAs to VC after each P/TA registration deadline. (Excepted in P/TAs not using online registration. Users will have to manually enter all information for each team member)
Withdrawals - Cancellations
Withdrawal is allowed. However, a $100 administrative fee will be charged for withdrawals that are requested prior to the registration deadline. No refund will be given for withdrawals requested after the registration deadline.
Event Regulations
All details, from registration to seeding of teams, are included in the Indoor Competition Guide 2004-2005. Event regulations are published in the 2004-2005 Volleyball Canada Rule Book.
Team Check-in
Date : Time : Location : At check-in, coaches will be asked to verify their team roster and pick up players & coaches packages. Teams will not be allowed to begin play until they have verified their roster.
Coaches Meeting
A mandatory coaches meeting will be held prior to the competition. Details will be posted here as they become available. All coaches must attend the meeting, as any last minute technical adjustments will be dealt with at that time (i.e. Schedule change, Rule clarification).

Practices
Pratice time will be available. Booking details will be posted shortly.
Warm-up
Minimal warm-up time is 10 minutes.
Referees
Volleyball Canada certified officials will be assigned to each match. Official's coordination will be done through consultation with the Province or Territory Officials Chairs and the National Officials Chair.
Officiating Duties
All information regarding Team's scorekeeping & officiating duties will be displayed here as it becomes available.
Referee Meeting

Transportation
No transportation is offered. However, contact info for prefered rate local transportation will be posted here as it becomes available.
Tournament Boutique
Volleyball Canada will be on-site selling tournament souvenirs and VC clothes and gear.
Tournament Jury
The tournament jury is composed of a Volleyball Canada/Domestic Competition Committee (DCC) representative, Host committee representative, and the Referee Supervisor. For more information on the Jury's powers and duties, please consult section 20 of the Indoor Competition Guide 2004-2005.
Performance Bonds
The $400.00 team performance bond remains the responsibility of each Provincial/Territorial Association. Ultimately, teams will be required to forward the bonds amount in the event of any infraction which affect: 1) VC Code of conduct violation 2) Accommodation/facility damaged 3) Uniform regulation 4) Coaches fail to meet coaching certification requirements 5) If a team does not fulfill its competitive obligations to an event.
