Registration is to be done online at www.volleyball.ca.

Registration fees: $575 (including all service fees and taxes)
Team Eligibility
In order to be eligible to participate in a National Championship, a team must...
1. Be registered and in good stadning with its own PTA and with Volleyball Canada. Out of country teams must be registered and in good standing with their National Federation.
2. Participate in its Provincial/Territorial Championship, if one exists, in any Tier.
3. Meet registration requirements.
Player Eligibility
Players must be born in 1992 or later (no exception)
Roster
The team roster may consist of a maximum of 15 players and 3 coaching staff (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager). Only 12 of those 15 players can be registered on the scoresheet during the competition and will be permitted to play any given match. These 12 athletes may vary from one match to another.
Rosters will be transfered from P/TAs to VC after each P/TA registration deadline. (Excepted in P/TAs not using online registration. Users will have to manually enter all information for each team member)
Withdrawals
Withdrawal is allowed. However, a $100 administrative fee will be charged for withdrawals that are requested prior to the registration deadline. No refund will be given for withdrawals requested after the registration deadline.

At check-in, coaches will be asked to verify their team roster and pick up players & coaches packages. Teams will not be allowed to begin play until they have verified their roster.
Coaches Meeting

All teams must be represented and must attend the meeting, as any last minute technical adjustments will be dealt with at that time (i.e. Schedule change, Rule clarification).
Scorekeepers Meeting

The Scorekeepers meeting is mandatory for all designated team scorekeepers. Scorekeepers will receive their T-shirt and tournament instructions at this time.
Opening Ceremonies

All teams are asked to be in attendance. Should a team be unable to attend, they should contact the tournament director.
Technical Matters
Playing Rules
The Official Volleyball Canada 2005-2006 Indoor Rule Book shall govern play at the National Championships.
Indoor Competition Guide 2005-2006
Competition rules are outlines in the Indoor Competition Guide 2005-2006. All coaches and team contacts should be aware of its content. It is available to be downloaded under the Registration Information page.
<b>Awards/Prizes</b>
Volleyball Canada will provide medals and banners for Tier 1 of all Divisions. The host will provide medals for all other tiers. Volleyball Canada will also provide a prize package for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in Division 1 Tier 1. There will also be 6 All-star awards and 1 MVP award for each gender.
Coaching Certification
Coaches are requested to present proof of coaching certification to scorekeepers at the beginning if each match, along with their team roster. If coaching certification is not presented, officials will make a note on the scoresheet for the tournament committee to take action.
VC Certified Referees
Volleyball Canada certified officials will be assigned to each match. Official's coordination will be done through consultation with the Province or Territory Officials Chairs and the National Officials Chair.
Referee Technical Meeting
All certified officials are requested to attend a mandatory referee technical meeting, chaired by the Referee Supervisor.

Officiating Duties
All Teams must designate a Scorekeeper for the tournament, this person should be 18 years or older. Please forward the name and t-shirt size of this person to Sandra Sandbeck at
[email protected]. This person will be required to attend the Scorekeepers meeting to receive their T-shirt and instructions for the tournament. Teams must also provide 1 linesperson for their match. This person can be a player or parent.
Medical Services
A Student Athletic Therapist from the University of Saskatchewan will be present at the tournament. They will be available for taping and other minor injuries. Teams or Athletes must provide their own supplies for taping.

Tournament Jury
The tournament jury is composed of a Volleyball Canada/Domestic Competition Committee (DCC) representative, Host committee representative, and the Referee Supervisor. For more information on the Jury's powers and duties, please consult section 20 of the Indoor Competition Guide 2005-2006.
Performance Bond
The $400.00 team performance bond remains the responsibility of each Provincial/Territorial Association. Ultimately, teams will be required to forward the bonds amount in the event of any infraction which affect:
1) VC Code of conduct violation
2) Accommodation/facility damaged
3) Uniform regulation
4) Coaches fail to meet coaching certification requirements
5) If a team does not fulfill its competitive obligations to an event.
